What should I keep in mind when renting a 20 yard dumpster?
Stay within your dumpster's weight allowance. The weight capacity will vary depending on who you rent from, but the average weight limit for a 20 yard dumpster is about 3 tons (6,000 lbs). Going over the weight allowance will incur additional charges as high as $150 per ton. A standard rental period is seven days (varies by company).
