Each roll-off dumpster includes a certain amount of weight in the price. The amount of included weight can range from 0 lbs to several tons. Additional costs occur when your load goes over the allotted weight. Overage costs typically range between $35 per ton and $100 per ton. Weight fees are generally determined by the cost to dump at the landfill or recycling center. The dumpster service simply passes the cost on to the customer. Household junk is much lighter compared to the same volume of dirt, bricks or concrete debris. Be wary of overage charges when dealing with heavier debris.
